What is measured in online tests?

A psychometric assessment usually consists of different types of tasks with different focus. These can be tests on cognitive abilities, such as linguistic and numeric skills, concentration tests, knowledge tests or analytical skills. These tasks mostly have one or more correct solutions.

Other tasks measure behavioural preferences in different situations or are based on questions about attitudes and characteristics. Since this is about your preferences, there are no right or wrong answers in these tasks.

Especially cognitive tests often have a limited processing time, but sometimes tasks are also completely time-free.
